We have been fingerprinted. Our appointment was last Wednesday, May 16th in Nashville and all went smoothly. Charles had his fingerprints finished in no time but it took much longer for the processor to finish my prints. Apparently, the ridges on my fingers are super smooth. I'd say as a result from washing dishes by hand all those years growing up. : )
After our fingerprint appointment, we headed to the Nashville Zoo. We had such a fun day! This zoo is really nice. Sam's favorite thing was Lorikeet Landing. For $1 you can buy nectar and go into this covered outdoor area where little lorikeets will come and sit on your hand and drink nectar from your cup. This was so fun!
So, our next step is waiting to get our I-171 approval in the mail. This will probably take 6-8 weeks. Then we can get on the waiting list for our child! However, our finances are going to be pretty tight coming up with the next fee that is due when we are placed on the waiting list. But, God has provided for us financially every step of the way so far and I have complete faith that he will continue to do so!
