Top Ten Reasons I'm So Thankful

1. I have a heavenly Father that loves me unconditionally, protects me, helps me, uplifts me, provides for me, blesses me, and gave his only son that I may have eternal life!

2. I have a kind, wonderful, and super-friendly husband that loves me, puts up with me, and supports me - no matter what!

3. I have a wonderful son that is loving, kind, funny, smart, handsome, happy, and passion-driven. He is such an awesome kid and I thank God for him everyday!

4. I have a daughter. I know her name. I have pictures and video of her. I have the knowledge that she is sweet, kind, and smart. I know that she is being well-cared for and loved everyday. I'm so thankful that she is where she is until we can bring her home!

5. I'm thankful for traveling parents that volunteer to take pictures and video for other adoptive families. And I'm so thankful for those adoptive parents that blog about and share their experiences. Honestly, if it weren't for reading the stories of others we would probably not have considered Ethiopia and definitely not an older child adoption.

6. I have a job that I enjoy. In today's world, I see that as a double blessing!

7. I have a work schedule that allows me to educate my son at home. We are a home schooling family. It's our life and I love it! I'm thankful we have the freedom to educate our son in the environment that we choose and that we are actively involved in his learning, discovering, living, and happiness.

8. I have a great church family that is supportive, kind, and loving. I'm especially thankful for all the great children at our church. I can't wait until our Libby is home to meet all her new friends!

9. I'm thankful for good health - not only for me but my entire family.

10. And I'm also thankful for those things we sometimes take for granted like a home, and a heated house, clean water, access to medical care, and never having to go to bed hungry.

I am so blessed! Blessed beyond measure! Thanks be to God!
