It's been a while since my last post and all is relatively quiet on the adoption front. We have however officially changed our age and gender preference on THE LIST. We are now open to either gender age 0-24 months, which means we will likely be referred a boy, but you never know. We're also getting ready to start on our required adoption education materials.
Yesterday was Thanksgiving and we had a nice, relaxing meal with Charles' parents. And as usual we brought home enough leftovers that I will not have to cook all weekend. Sam, following tradition, enjoyed mashed potatoes and rolls only. He did try a bit of pumpkin pie though, which is a big step, but no turkey or ham or anything. I wonder if our next child will be a picky eater like Sam?
Now that we are officially open to either a boy or girl, I'm trying to come up with boy names. We have our girl name all picked out - Alison Hope - but I just can't decide about a boy. I would like to have a Biblical name for our second son, to match with Sam's (Samuel), and I do want to include part of his own Vietnamese name as well. So far I'm leaning toward Jonathan, and we could call him Jon. I also like the sound of Adam and Andrew (Drew) but... We still have a lot of time to decide.

We're only about a month ahead of you. We pretty much have our boy name chosen (at least I do), but have no idea about a girl name. Since it is much more likely that we'll get a boy; I'm really not even thinking about girl names right now!
