Anniversaries

Tomorrow will mark our 14th year wedding anniversary! Being so close to Christmas, we often do not always get to celebrate in a grand fashion. But that's okay with me. Our plans are to go Christmas tree shopping tomorrow evening with Sam. I can't think of another way I'd like to spend our anniversary than being with my two favorite guys and getting our house ready to celebrate this wonderful season.

Wednesday is another anniversay for us - 6 months since we were added to our agency's waiting list for a referral. I haven't 'officially' asked our coordinator what number we are on the list, but I'm thinking 140ish or so. Again, this number doesn't mean a whole lot because the 140 or so people on the list in front of us may only be requesting girls or boys or a certain age range. Personally, I would love to get a referral by Christmas next year. That would put us right on target financially with our savings plan to have the money we need to complete the adoption. But I must remember, God's plans and ways are much better than mine. I trust Him and His timing implicitly.
