We've had five inches of snow here since lunchtime today. This is a major event for us. Sam has never seen this much snow! Roads are terrible and we've had to change our travel plans. There's no way we can make it to Nashville in the morning so we're heading for Atlanta instead. We've got two flight options to get from Atlanta to D.C. so we can make our scheduled flight to Ethiopia. Please pray for the bad weather to end, the roads to be clear, and for safe travels both on the roads and in the air. Today has been a very stressful day for us as we've tried to juggle plans.
But on a much better note - I woke up this morning to a wonderful email from my friend Julie who was just in Ethiopia picking up her two sweet children. She had captured our Libby on video for us. Our girl is waving and smiling as she says, "Hi, Mommy. Hi, Daddy." Melts. My. Heart.
I will likely not post while we're in Ethiopia as I've heard the internet service isn't that reliable. Just keep us all in your prayers, including Sam who'll be staying home with grandparents while we're gone. Thank you all so much!

Have a wonderful trip! Remember that God is in control! He knows about the snow and He will orchestrate this trip His own way. Try to rest in His plan.
We are praying for you and can't wait to here from you when you get back.
