I171H again

We received our amended I171H in the mail today. Yippee. (said with a slightly sarcastic tone) Don't get me wrong, this is a VERY important document and without it we can't travel and bring Alison home. It's just this is the fourth one of these we've received. And the excitement wore off a long time ago.

The first time this wonderful document arrived in our mailbox, it meant we could be placed on our agency's waiting list for the Vietnam program. That was June 2007. Then we received another "golden ticket" a year later approving us for a new country - Ethiopia. Then we received yet another famed I171H late in 2008 extending the previously amended CIS approval. And now we have approval to bring home one child, healthy or special needs, from Ethiopia, between the ages of 0-8. I think that just about covers every possible category that Alison could fall into!

I pray that this is the last CIS approval that needs to arrive in my mailbox. This one is valid until June of next year and our fingerprints are valid until January 2010. Please, please, please, Lord. Please let us be home with Alison waaaaaaay before then!
