We received new pictures of Alison yesterday afternoon! What a change from her referral picture! In her referral picture she looks sad/mad and scared to death. But in this picture, she is smilling! Truly smiling - you know the kind when your eyes are smiling too! And her face is fuller and she just looks happy and well taken care of. Thank you, House of Hope!
Sam was thrilled with this new "happy" picture. I think he's been worried - and understandably so for a 10 year old - that we're bringing his new sister into the family and she's going to be sad and scared and won't be able to speak English and won't want to play. Well, this picture helped alleviate some of those fears. You can really see her personality shining through and to Sam she looks fun! To me - she is simply beautiful and I cannot wait to hold her in my arms and love her forever!
