I'm So Happy Here!

We feel so blessed that the adjustment process has gone smoothly with Libby. Yes, we've had some grieving. Yes, we've had testing of limits. There has been pouting. There have been sibling squabbles. Normal stuff. But overall, it's been really good. This week though, things have just seemed to "click" in a new way. I've sensed a difference in Libby. I can't explain it. She has just seemed more comfortable. I've even thought to myself, "This is attachment, this is good."

Last night, while I was reading to Sam. Charles tucked Libby into bed, they said their prayers, and she gave Charles the biggest hug ever! I went into her room a little later to give kisses and say goodnight. I came into her room and she jumped up to hug me and said, "I'm so happy here! I have mom, dad, brother. I love you!" She had the biggest smile I've ever seen and she gave me the most heartfelt hug. I'm so happy she's here too!
